My Cub In Otter Lake
Not what you want to see when your plane is not on floats. The wind blew it from the tie-down over a 25 " bank.
Getting It Out
It was amazing that the "cub" flew the next day after the wind settled. I run the engine and changed the oil twice. The rudder had to be repaired on the bottom but that was all. "God was watching out for me." This is really a "Super Cub".

Recovered Brown Bear
This was a special time when Mark Confer and I went to help Steve Lanphier try to recover Don Renard's big Western Alaska boar. The bear died looking out of the alder while Steve was bent down trying to look into the dark alder. It was to dark so Steve backed out and came back to camp. This was the next morning. Success! My Only Elk
I harvested this 6x6 elk with Dan Artery in WY. I went on three different elk hunts with Dan and had a blast. I passed on a few bigger than this guy and saw a couple really dandy elk but they were always on the wrong side of the fence. This guy scored 293 B&C.
WY Whitetail
I shot this beautiful 5x5 whitetail while hunting with Dan Artery south of Wheatland, WY. He grossed 151 B&C. Dan is a great guide and we always had a blast.
